The trio formed the Tealsters FC, and every year since their diagnosis, they have organised events to raise funds for gynaecological cancer research. They have also participated in Cherish’s previous beach volleyball fundraiser, The Battle. In 2020, despite the impact of Covid-19, these enterprising ovarian cancer survivors raised close to $20,000 for gynaecological cancer research.
