Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation Board Members Nikki Frame and Linda Quinn raised a phenomenal $87,000 at a Gala Dinner they organised and hosted on the Gold Coast as part of their fundraising for the Cherish Larapinta Trek.
A huge shout out from the Cherish team to both Nikki and Linda for their tireless efforts and executing this large scale gala dinner with over 300 people in attendance, along with their incredible network of family, friends and supporters who have contributed and helped these amazing ladies. Cherish Chair Kathleen Banks attended this beautiful evening along with other Cherish board members including Haidee Van Ruth and Dr. Andreas Obermair. They were blown away with the evening and mentioned there was not a dry eye in the house when Elsa Larsen spoke about her beautiful younger sister Kristen who was taken by ovarian cancer 18 months ago. Kristen and Elsa were an incredible team and proud Ovarian Cancer Advocates. Elsa is continuing this journey in honour of her sister’s memory, to help others with ovarian cancer, raising awareness and supporting research in hope of saving another sister, mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt or friend.
